"New Paintings" Richard Tinkler
Richard Tinkler's vast webbings of geometric lines and color reveal organized chaos similar to patterns found in nature and within our own bodies. While I'm reminded of brain synapses and networks of neurons, perhaps Tinkler is influenced subconsciously by the lace patterns made by his grandmother which inspired him in his youth. That's the beauty of these hypnotizing yet somehow familiar colors and patterns-- While we wonder what they are, each of us can connect with them in our own unique way. - Katie Pilgrim
